Internet Explorer SXSW Promotion
Standing out at South by Southwest (SXSW) isn't easy – every tech and entertainment brand in the world went, vying for the attention of attendees. But innovative campaigns and strong social media helped Internet Explorer stand out. A partnership with The Onion featured distribution of 25,000 special Internet editions of their newspaper exclusively sponsored by IE9 (and featuring ads that were surprising and a breakthrough to the SXSW audience). Street teams handed out coffee and energy drinks in branded cups all over Austin.
