Mike Tompkins HTML5 Experience
IE9 has some great browser demos, but we wanted to create a demo that general audiences would want to try and share. So we partnered with viral sensation Mike Tompkins, a musician who makes a cappella remixes of pop songs. His previous videos have all generated millions of views each. We secured the rights to Katy Perry's smash hit "Firework" and had Mike record and film his unique take on it. It was then turned into an interactive website where his fans could remix the video. The video is designed to take advantage of IE9's performance strengths, making it a great demo for people who don't even know what a demo is.
