The Production & Events Producer is for sourcing, managing, and billing of all vendor resources for creative output. This includes print materials, events, and video elements.

This person works closely with the creative team (creative, production, video, creative and traffic managers) as well as with the account teams to provide strategic recommendations on print production methods, production quotes and budget management, talent contracting, usage management and provides quality assurance across all deliverables. As a jack-of-all-trades, the Production Manager is responsible for acting quickly and nimbly to support Agency needs across a wide array of deliverables.

  • Overall Responsibilities:
    • Act as agency expert on production trends, methods and efficiencies to guide team in producing innovative creative for our clients
    • Ensure quality of all creative output produced by agency — ensure adherence to file specs, file delivery specifications and timelines and production budgets
    • Ensure Agency maintains contractual obligations for usage and rights across wide array of deliverables
  • Detailed Responsibilities:
    • Vendor Management
      • Manages vendor relationships and quality assurance
      • Sets expectations for relationship, processes and timing
      • Maintains and updates vendor list for future project use
    • Estimation & Budget Management
      • Quotes all production projects for agency
      • Ensures estimates are accurate to project scope specs throughout duration of project — flags any scope or spec changes and manages appropriate re-estimating where needed
      • Manages to budgets throughout project duration — flags overages and determines course of action for final billing
    • Quality Assurance
      • Ensures files are built to spec prior to releasing final outputs
      • Ensures proper internal proofing processes have been completed prior to release of files
      • Ensures final delivery of files are completed (shipping confirmation, upload confirmations, etc)
    • Print Production Management
      • Agency expert on production methods and trends
      • Resource for stock and/or spec recommendations
      • Attends agency press checks to represent Agency and ensure quality of output; problem-solve on-site as needed
      • Manages proof reviews internally
      • Maintains and updates contact list of vendor resources for future partnerships
    • Talent and Art/Video Sourcing & Usage Management
      • Works closely with video producer and creative director to source talent, review talent and contract talent as needed for final project delivery
      • Ensures and manages contracts with talent and maintains record of agreements
      • Manages usage and payment of talent as required by project
    • Social Influencer Outreach & Contracting
      • Outreach to social influencers (bloggers, social personalities, etc) and Celebrity agents to contract for sponsorships, endorsements or rights to assets
      • Manages process of contracting and usage with thes Influencers

The candidate should be passionate about the craft of storytelling and be able to express and reframe complex ideas in straightforward yet elegant terms for the benefit of internal teams and client discussion. They should be knowledgeable in digital and social marketing and have a desire to create imaginative concepts that capture a consumers’ attention.

Experience and Requirements:
