BaM Wins Six Financial Communications Society Portfolio Awards

Bradley and Montgomery along with their clients had a strong showing at the 2022 FCS Portfolio Awards with five total awards. The agency won a Gold Portfolio Award in the Integrated Campaign category for work completed on behalf of Simmons Bank. The winning campaign, called “Fierce is Forever,” celebrated the hard work and dedication of female collegiate athletes that often goes underacknowledged and underfunded. Partnerships with ten different colleges/universities were developed for the campaign and included all women’s sports programs at the schools, not just a select few. This was a unique and innovative approach to typical sports sponsorship which historically centered around only the most popular and highly attended sports. There were multiple components created to support this campaign which works to lessen the disparity between women’s and men’s programs, including video, print, digital and social marketing work.

BaM won a Bronze Portfolio Award in the Visual Identity Logo – Consumer Retail Bank category, and a Silver in the Visual Identity System – Consumer Retail Bank category for work on behalf of the First Financial Wealth Management Group. Developed as the “Yellow Cardinal Advisory Group,” the agency created the name, logo, and supporting marketing materials for the new brand.

A Silver Portfolio Award was earned in the Direct Mail – Consumer Retail – Single Piece category for work completed on behalf of First Financial. For outreach to home builders in a highly-competitive market, BaM leaders created a mock blueprint that was sent in a shipping tube to prompt builders to build relationships with First Financial, and recommend them as a lender to home buyers.

Finally, BaM won a Bronze Portfolio Award in the Branding and Advertising Television – Single Spot category and another Bronze in the Branding and Advertising Audio – Single Spot category for a fully-integrated marketing campaign completed for First Financial that highlighted the joy and freedom people can get from their finances when utilizing the right financial institution. This included positioning First Financials’ bank account benefits next to competing banks’ benefits to encourage people to get more from their banking, and their lives.

“There’s ample creative talent operating in the financial industry, and we’re honored to receive these awards among such great company,” said Mark Bradley, founder and president of Bradley and Montgomery. “As an agency, we have a long history of working with banks and other financial organizations. People tend to think of these brands as stuffy or boring, and we’re doing our best to dispel those myths and bring levity and creativity to some of the nation’s most notable financial brands.”

This is not BaM’s first time winning a coveted FCS Portfolio Award. In 2020, the agency won a Gold and Bronze Portfolio Award for work done on behalf of First Financial Bank. In 2019, BaM took home a Bronze Award in the Consumer Retail, Brand and Visual Identity category for work completed on behalf of Chase Private Client.
