Creating a test-market ad that doesn’t look like a test.

Angie’s List was looking to move fast. It was creating a new app that used the power of your smartphone to let you (for example) snap a picture of your leaky faucet for a repair quote from a qualified plumber, fast. The app was in Beta, but the ad (to run in test DMAs) needed to be completed quickly and look like it was market ready. This spot — the script, shoot, edit and special effects composites — was done by our in-house production and special effects teams in under 20 days.
